I am ready for spring! The weather warmed up to 80 degrees for one amazing day this week and it was wonderful.
I'm looking forward to doing all the things that mark spring such as planting a small vegetable garden and woriking in the flower beds. I practically live in sandals and flip flops from March to September.
But this is Louisiana so we probably won't have that many spring days. It always seems to go straight from cold to HOT every year.
I hope we don't have another summer like last year. It was too hot to do much of anything. Most of the flowers in my beds died. The garden was a loss and the only thing I wanted to do was float in a pool.
Anyway, since controlling the weather is not one my talents, my flip flops and I will be waiting patiently for spring's arrival.
I know exactly how you feel because I'm wearing my flip flops even if its cold. I am looking forward to trying some new things in my yard this spring. Come on Spring!!
